The Internet Explorer beta was released yesterday to MSDN subscribers. Reviews of the beta so far find that most of the changes are to the user interface (which blatantly rips off many Mozilla Firefox features) and security model. Web developer support is mostly untouched (the CSS 2 ACID test fails just as spectacularly in IE7 as it did in IE6).

This article from the BBC News site describes an experiment where monkeys had tiny probes implanted in their brains and were then restrained from movement. The probes allowed the monkeys to control a robot arm. The amazing part is that the monkeys learned to grab and hold food with the arm.
